s83: s 83 Consult an employee on unpaid parental leave about significant decisions affecting the position
Where an employee is on unpaid parental leave (other than flexible days) and the employer decides something that will significantly affect the status, pay or location of the employee's pre-parental leave position, the employer takes all reasonable steps to give the employee information about the effect of the decision on that position and an opportunity to discuss it.
Our statement of the clause of Australia Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), held and verified: cite it as s83. The instrument verbatim is not quoted here; the held framework carries the reading.
