Each employee (casuals included) may take 2 days of unpaid carer's leave for each occasion when an immediate family or household member needs care or support because of illness, injury or an unexpected emergency, as one period of up to 2 days or agreed separate periods; it is not available while paid personal/carer's leave could be taken instead.
