When is a joint pay assessment owed?
Where all three conditions of Art 10(1) hold together: the pay reporting shows a difference in average pay of at least 5 percent between female and male workers in a category; the employer has not justified that difference on objective, gender-neutral criteria; and the employer has not remedied it within six months of the date of submission of the reporting. The assessment then runs with the worker representatives, from the seven items of Art 10(2), and is made available to workers, the monitoring body and, on request, the inspectorate and the equality body.
Answered for an HR Director who has seen a gap in the report; read from the copy of the directive we hold, cited to its articles. Run the screen free, or read the worked specimen.
Does the tool rule on compliance?
No. It screens the titles and figures you paste and marks the questions; a job evaluation and your counsel decide equal value.
What does it need?
A paste: job title, gender, base pay, and bonus and FTE where held. No names, no integration.
