What does Directive (EU) 2023/970 require from employers?
It requires pay structures that ensure equal pay for equal work or work of equal value on four criteria (skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, Art 4); pay transparency to applicants (the initial pay or its range, no pay-history questions, gender-neutral notices, Art 5); accessible pay-setting criteria (Art 6); a worker information right answered in writing within two months (Art 7); gender pay gap reporting in seven items on a timetable by headcount (Art 9); and a joint pay assessment where an unjustified category gap of at least 5 percent survives its six-month window (Art 10).
Answered for an HR Director briefing the executive; read from the copy of the directive we hold, cited to its articles. Run the screen free, or read the worked specimen.
Does the tool rule on compliance?
No. It screens the titles and figures you paste and marks the questions; a job evaluation and your counsel decide equal value.
What does it need?
A paste: job title, gender, base pay, and bonus and FTE where held. No names, no integration.
