How do you read the gender pay gap figures the directive asks for?

The gap is the difference in average pay levels between female and male workers, expressed as a percentage of the average male pay level (Art 3(1)(c)); the median version uses median pay levels (Art 3(1)(e)). Pay level is the gross annual pay (Art 3(1)(b)), so a paste of annual base pay is read on that basis, with the FTE adjustment stated; the complementary or variable components carry their own gap items (Art 9(1)(b) and (d)), and the category gaps (Art 9(1)(g)) and quartiles (Art 9(1)(f)) come from the same rows.

Does the tool rule on compliance?

No. It screens the titles and figures you paste and marks the questions; a job evaluation and your counsel decide equal value.

What does it need?

A paste: job title, gender, base pay, and bonus and FTE where held. No names, no integration.
